when did
you begin triathlon and why?

my mum was looking on the Triathlon
Victoria website and saw a notice about the GIT (get into triathlon)
program that ntc was running in 2000. They trained a group of
about 40 to compete in the brooks competitions. Since then I
have been hooked. Awsome program! |

Running, swimming and cross country skiing.. and
well cycling, netball, tennis, softball, alpine… etc etc |

umm… 4 seasons.. average of 10 per season?

| greatest
achievement in triathlon |
Completing in my first triathlon was an awesome
feeling, followed closely by making the VSSSA team. Also doing
the Olympic distance one was pretty awesome! OO actually after
my first sprint distance race I won a scooter by shoving as
many orange pieces into my mouth and singing mary had a little
lamb, defiantly a proud moment in my life :P |

Most defiantly still being alive after a 21km

lately the run.. worst.. probably open water swimming.. too
many weird things in the water!! But think I’m an average
all rounder

embarrassing moment in triathlon? |
At the qualifying race for vsssa in ballerat I
fell over twice in transition. Once coming out of the swim and
then coming back from the bike I slipped and dropped my bike
too.. Both were luckily caught on camera too ? Oh well certainly
caught the selectors eyes.. |
