when did
you begin triathlon and why?

I
started swimming with the NTC guys in the mid to late 90's.
Gave that up after a particularily hot day last summer although
it must have been cold in the water. Noticed a particularily
distressing sight which I think at the time I described as a
plug out of a small childs inflatable boat. |

years. It's been great. I never got hassled to become a member
cos no one knew I was swimming. This all changed after I started
putting posts on the chatroom. I often see a tall enthusiastic
man walking the lake with binoculars, a plasticoated form and
a permanent marker trying to find me to join. |
