when did you begin triathlon and why?

Beginning of 2004 because was getting too many injuries (stress fractures) through running large kms/wk, so wanted a sport where I could alternate my training.
how many years in NTC? 1/2
what is your sporting background? Running, running, running!
how many triathlons? 2 (gee, don't I sound like an amateur)
greatest achievement in triathlon You'll have to wait untill I've done more than 2!
greatest achievement outside of triathlon Competing in nationals for 800m and 1500m (running), 1/2 marathon, my career, having a fabulous twin sister (or is that my parents achievement?)
best result? Sorry again, I need to do more Tri's
best and worst triathlon legs and why? Best - Running (because it's my background and I love it). Worst - Cycling (because the legs go around, but the bike doesn't move!!)
most embarrassing moment in triathlon? Don't have one yet, but if you know me I'm sure it wont be long.
three people you would like to invite to dinner Heath Ledger, Lance Armstrong, Rowan Atkinson (wouldn't that be a classic!!!), and Steve as "Ali G." (I know that's four)
favourite music I'm a bit of an all rounder but do like Jewell, Dido, David Gray and Jeff Buckley. Oh and Edguy (That's for you Moshy!!)
favourite film Tough one, but "Ratrace" makes me laugh every time and I never get sick of "Grease"
favourite t.v. show Don't watch much TV, but when Temptation Island comes on, I never miss an episode (is that sad??)
favourite triathlon distance Not sure yet.
favourite race Slow down....let me complete a season first!
favourite food Pumpkin, corn, mushrooms & kinder surprises
favourite drink Cordial (oh ok, and kahlua and coke)
triathlon goals Finish 1/2 Ironman, then we'll go from there. Podium finish for age group (ambitious??)
passions outside traithlon My fabulous friends & family, work (sorry but I love what I do), shopping, surfing (I'm crap), the beach, summer and Ro.
describe yourself in 5 words ot less a bit of a perfectionist, enthusiastic, a little too ambitious, content. People often refer to me as "a classic" - but I'm not sure exactly what that means??
